FAQs

If I book a consultation, does that mean I can’t work with anyone else?

If you’re just starting out on your Real Estate journey, or haven’t signed another’s buyer or seller agreement, you’re good! We can definitely sit down or virtually meet and see if we’re a good fit for each other.

If we both agree we to move forward, then you can sign a buyers or sellers agreement only before we start looking at houses. If you feel it’s not a good fit after that point, we can mutually separate as well!

Helping you find your dream property or sell your current home for the best price is my priority and I want you to enjoy the journey.

These are rules set up by the KREC and MREC.

How do I decide which area to buy in?

Kansas City is full of amazing pockets! Whether Brookside, Hyde Park, the River Market, Overland Park, or up North, we’ll chat about what’s important to you!

Where’s your job located, do you need great school systems, do you love coffeeshops or getting the best takeout? Or do you just want somewhere with a great backyard for your pup? I’ll make sure you’re centrally located in a neighborhood perfect for you!

I hear the markets really hot and I keep hearing about offers getting rejected. How can you help make sure we get our dream property?

Every house is worth a price. Sometimes it’s the one listed, and sometimes it’s significantly higher or lower than list price. I scour the markets daily to fully understand how the market is changing on a regular basis so we can come in with the strongest and fairest offer.

I also provide materials to you in advance so you can better understand your negotiation style, and type of risk preference, so we know whether we can make a few offers and get the best price, or wait until we find the best house, go in strong, and come out victorious!

If I already signed a buyers or sellers agreement, can we still meet up and chat?

I’m always willing to offer advice, help clarify real estate terms, or walk through how to evaluate a investment property where possible.

However, I will not be able to show houses or make the notable difference that I’m able to for my clients if you have signed a buyers or sellers agreement with another realtor.

Always feel free to reach out and ask if you aren’t sure!

I’m thinking about getting my first investment property? How do I know when the right one comes available?

The KC investment property market, like the overall real estate market, is hot. Properties move fast and you need to have an idea of what you’re looking for before the right property comes available.

What I can do is help run the numbers. I can help pull comparisons so you know you’re getting the best price for the main property, and pull comparisons for rental units near by, so you have an idea of what you can charge in the area as well! I have digital and physical examples prepared for you!

I’ve also pulled together a list a list of my favorite professionals in the area, so whether you need a plumber, roofer, or anything in-between, we will get you someone you trust.

Why did you get into Real Estate?

Because I love it! I was four homes into my family’s portfolio when I realized this is the most fun and engaged I’ve ever been!

I loved helping my friends find and decide which homes were for them before I got my license with their realtor, so I jumped in and now get to help directly.
